🌴 ylang-ylang is a flowering tree native to the philippines and other southeast asian countries. its name comes from the tagalog word "ilang-ilang" meaning "flower of flowers". 

ylang ylang has a distinct, exotic aroma that is highly prized in perfumery. think of it as the sweeter, greener (but wilder) cousin of sampaguita!

smells like: ylang ylang petals, gardenia, tuberose, sandalwood, guaiacwood

Such a great candle! Smells of jasmine perfectly which is a main scent for a lot of plumerias and is the quintessential tropical scent in my eyes and always brightens my mood when it’s been too long since I’ve been on a beach.
